Get to know a foster dog one on one in this month’s spotlight.
Hello everyone! My name is Pepper or as my foster mom likes to call me pepper pig! My foster my tells me she doesn’t understand why no one has scooped me up she loves my crazy ears and beautiful brindle coat!
Pepper is a 3yr old spayed 35 pound shepherd mix who is UTD on vaccines and preventatives. Pepper does not like female dogs or male dogs larger than her she did live with a male dog her size in Alabama. Pepper likes humans of all sizes but please no cats or critters for this gal.
Pepper is an active girl and likes to do zoomies in the yard and play with her toys and bones. Pepper also has no problem laying down for a cuddle when it’s time. Pepper is a very hungry girl and requires a slow feeder bowl as she eats too fast. She also likes to scope out the counters but is easily redirected. Pepper is food motivated and eager to please but is still working on manners such as not jumping on people she meets and being polite when people have food.
Pepper is house and crated trained. Shes patiently waiting for her forever home in Dillsburg, PA
