Spay / Neuter Contract

Dear Adopter,
In accordance with your Spay/Neuter contract with Pa Caring for K-9’s, your dog must be altered by 7 Months of age. This is in direct accordance to the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture Dog Law. All Pa rescue dogs must be Spayed or Neutered by the time the dog turns 7 months of age.
  • If you, as an adopter of a rescue dog, do not comply with this regulation, it is required that we, PA Caring for K-9’s, report your name to the PA Dog Warden as non-compliant. The Pa Dog Warden for your area will then be in contact with you.
  • If you have already had your dog spayed or neutered, please be sure to send a copy of the spay/neuter certificate or verification from your veterinarian to PA Caring for K-9’s via email by mailing.

If your dog has a medical issue that deters spay or neuter, you must have medical documentation from your veterinarian to prove this delay.
That veterinarian documentation can be emailed to Medical@pack9rescue.org Medical@pack9rescue.org
